Not sure if anyone still uses these forums or not anymore, but I have a Win11 laptop that locks up every time we try and run a boot scan. I have gone into advanced settings and tried enabling and disabling recovery mode scanning (usually not required). That doesn’t change anything. The scan never actually starts, and when you escape out of it, and it says it’s going to continue booting windows - it just locks up there and you have to physically shut the system off every time.
There was some file system corruption, so we can a SFC and DISM, and still didn’t resolve the issue - so I did an in place upgrade on windows (still no luck). Running Win11 home, no drive encryption.
Any suggestions??
