Boot-time log review

Hello, I’ve been having intermittent issues with my computer dropping the first letter I type in a field.
-It happens across all applications.
-I’ve tried to perform a custom scan twice which includes all hard drives, modules loaded in memory, startup programs and rootkits full. The first scan reached approx. 10-25% completion then hung. The Application was totally unresponsive, requiring a reboot.
-The second scan reached the same point when the UI failed to load. All shields were suddenly disabled. A system reboot was required.
-Both scan failures added an Avast Internet Security shortcut to my desktop for an unknown reason.
-I performed a successful boot-time scan and will paste the log below. I noticed a reference to \device\keyboardclass0 having failed, but I’m not sure what that refers to.
-The Windows 8.1 installation is new, as I recently changed my hard drive configuration to RAID 10.

Additional note - I just started the custom scan accidentally, then cancelled it. It immediately starts the scan again uncommanded, every single time I hit cancel.

I’m not sure if I’m chasing something here or Avast is simply misbehaving.

Full Disclosure - I had to use Adobe’s Creative Suite removal tool due to the famous failed installation bug. This included going through the registry deleting Adobe keys. Installation of all of their software after that was flawless. I installed flashplayer and CS3, both function normally, no other symptoms in the system. All Windows administrative tools function normally as far as I’ve been through them, services and disk management, task manager, cmd prompt, etc.

I’ll wait for your advice before doing anything else.

Thanks
