Have just run a boot scan - which threw up multiple entries saying error 42144 - OLE archive is corrupted.
If I look at the scan log - it reads no virus found.
Where do I go from here?

error 42144 - OLE archive is corrupted… Means just that the archive is corrupted so is unable to be scanned… It is not an infection
Many thanks essexboy for the info - guess I need to look at the MS sites to know what to do next!
not necessary …avast sometimes say corrupt on archives it can not open, so unless you have problems with a program i would not bother
