I have my own private network. Each time I boot up the computer Avast Premium warns of using an “UNKNOWN” network. So, I have to set it to “HOME” each time. How do I fix this annoying issue? I am using Win 10. All my other 15+ devices connect without problems to my network which is encrypted.
I don’t know what your Network Shields settings are, they should have your Network Class set to home and the Private Network set to Trusted.
It may be advisable to modify the settings below that, according to your requirements.

This image settings could reduce the repetition of checks on the same network connection. Care needs to be taken on what you choose as it could weaken the protection.
