So basically when i used avast it always gave me a security notification saying that connection blocked threat secured from api. tnagofsg .com URL:BOTNET, then when i deleted this and downloaded avast one it showed the same api. tnagofsg .com but this time it was URL:Phising, so please help me out is it some false positivities or legit botnet things, and ya avast one for first 2 or 3 notification told that this site was a phising and then as usuall it also started saying botnet fromphising, please help me out i am veryy worried and tensed about such things
Well switching AV programs wont get round the cause.
It isn’t unusual that a site being detected can switch it targeting, which could result in a different alert/malware name.
First and foremost were you actually trying to connect to this site ?
If not start by clearing your browser cache and cookies, including 3rd party cookies and restart your browser.
If that resolves it you should be good to go.
If it doesn’t try running your browser with add-ons disabled.
If that resolves it, have you added or updated any add-ons ?
If so try disabling that add-on - and restart and try again.
If still not resolved and you are using Chrome based browser - try this suggestion by Avast Team member ‘lukor’
What about page notifications? Here: chrome://settings/content/notifications ? Do you have all cleared?
