Brand new to Avast and need help, please!

I’m a macbook pro retina user, on Sierra 10.12.2 and I’m using chrome.

I’ve ran a scan and it says I have 21 issues. I haven’t a clue what, how, or why honestly.
After the scan is done I looked in the virus chest and it appears they’ve been isolated.
So I delete them all.

But then I get a pop up message saying:

Avast filesystem shield has blocked a threat and moved it to the chest.
The infection is JS:ProxyBancos-AL [Trj]

How do I get rid of these infections completely? I’m not the best at technology however I am pretty good at following instructions.

Can anyone help me please?? I’d be forever grateful and maybe send you homemade cookies! :wink:

There is no rush to delte /empty virus chest, it is there in case avast has done something wrong and you need to restore a file

If you run a new scan now, does it Come up clean ?

Previously when I’ve done it, yes. But now no. I’m hoping the pop ups are gone too.

That won’t work as Sharron is using a MAC :wink:
