I just to be a Firefox only guy, but with have lately been using Google Chrome, especially with Flash
problems FF have at this time. As I type I’m using IE9 which i’ve never been a fan of IE…but
9 is kinda growing on me.
What browser do you guys use and why?

Because its the fastest!

The top Browsers all rank about the same. The best browser for you is the one you’re comfortable using.
I may prefer the Chrome browser but at times use the other top ranked Browsers:
IE10, Firefox, Opera, etc.
Speed isn’t everything, if you don’t like the interface or its configurability then speed just doesn’t even get a consideration. For most people, they will see little appreciable difference, we all don’t browse with a stopwatch.
No idea what kind of system you have that any browser would slow it down.
Your browser choice is/has to be based on your use of a browser.
I didn’t care much for Internet Explorer 9. Using the back button would freeze the browser and I would receive
random browser freezing. I haven’t used IE9 since it was released though. Things may have changed since then.
I probably will never go back to it to know for sure.
Google Chrome felt the fastest but it didn’t feel stable. After many “aw snaps” and restoring the web page
because the browser did not shut down properly I moved on to Firefox. Also, I don’t care for having to sign
into my Google account to install an extension. Google installs a start item in the registry, a couple of
scheduled events, and a service. I have not done any research as to why Google needs all this, but someday I will
investigate it.
With Firefox, I have no problems. It doesn’t feel as fast as Chrome but it has been 100% reliable which is very
important to me. Reliability, stability, and trust are more important to me than speed. I don’t feel like someone is monitoring my every move.
Firefox has many of the extensions available that I used in Chrome.

I’m back to Firefox, it’s my fav and Chrome 2nd. I fixed the flash problem by uninstalling
Realplayer…which i didn’t use anyway. All working fine now, I love the echophon add on

I absolutely love Firefox but ive stopped using it because of the constant crashing when flash player is being used.Im now using google chrome and it seems a very good browser.
Personally i dont notice any sort of speed difference with any of them and if there is i would imagine it is very slight.
They all perform the exact same function which is to take the user from one website to another .
How do you uninstall the real player from firefox.?do you actually need to uninstall the entire flash player.?

Yes uninstall any real player extension you may have, that may work, but I had to totally remove
the real player software from my cpu. which like i said i don’t use anymore and didn’t have anything in
library as all is in itunes. If you use realplayer then you may want to wait for adobe and firefox to
get a fix
I use Firefox the most on my laptop. I use it the most because I think it is an excellent web browser. I love the features it has. I think it is fast, secure, easy to use, and reliable. Since I reinstalled Windows earlier this year Firefox has never crashed, and I have kept it open more than 24 hours before.
I use FF.IE8 and Maxthon
I also use Firefox, I like the add-ons and have no speed issues. I thought the flash problem was sorted out a few weeks ago with updates from both Mozilla and Adobe.

I do not like these browser threads. There is a secure browser and an insecure browsers. There is a malware aware browser user and a user that clicks after everything that even moves in the browser. Choice of browsers is like culinairy habits. Some like their “maatjes” raw like the Dutch and Israeli. Some like it in the form of a kipper, smoked and boiled. Some like it in a Russian salad a la Olivier, Napoleon’s chef. In Norway they like tomato ketchup with their herring.
And the same is with browsers: IE, Opera, now abandones; flock, firefox, Google chrome or iron, special japanese or Chinese browsers.
Some like to run their browser session in a sandbox, some like myself like to cleanse and scan their browser location at the end of a session. Some like to use specific add-ons and extensions to block scripts, ads, tracking and other security reasons. Some have pre-scanning extensions before going to a specific link (Bitdefender TrafficLight, DrWeb url check, M86 secure browsing, WOT, avast webrep. Some have just the lean browser, but fully patched and updated and also with fully updated and patched third party software (scan at http://secunia.com/products/consumer/osi/online/ ).
Well browser may differ, configurations may differ, but all I wish for you you stay safe and secure and watch your clicks while being protected through avast and the various avast shields (have them up under all circumstances, folks!),

I will try to keep it short.
Opera:
For years it is the fastest browser of the most well known browsers.
It is follows the standards (html and such), very well, better than IE, FF and Chrome.
It is highly configurable by the user.
Installing add-ons/plug-ins is easy but at your own risk. Not all are tested for security.
FireFox:
A decent browser, highly configurable by the user.
It does however have a downside. It has about the same amount of security flaws as Internet Explorer.
And for the add-ons/plug-ins. They have not been tested for security.
So when you install one, it is at your own risk.
Internet Explorer:
Often called the browser with the most security flaws. But that is not true.
It is the most attacked browser since it is the most used one.
Installing plug-ins (like flash etc) is easy.
Add-ons are possible, but it require quiet some knowledge about IE/programming often if you want to do so.
Configuring? Yes it is possible as user to configure things. But not as many/easy as it is with Opera or FF.
Google Chrome:
You could call this the youngster amongst the browsers.
Of course it use is growing rapidly because of the promotion Google does for it.
Is it a decent browser? Sure it is.
Installing plug-ins is easy as it as in about all browsers.
Installing add-ons is a bit tricky sometimes. The reason is that most plug-ins are programmed “in a hurry”.
What browser to use? Well that is a personal choice.
Is one browser better than another? yes and no. It depends on what you as user want/like. Speed, good looks?

Mine would not crash…just no video would ever even start or attempt to play, And back to orig topic… I love Opera but
to wishy washy for me, fast sometimes slow as a turtle at others!

had the same problem with flash & I tried chrome . . . much better!
