Our machines are all HP model PC’s with relatively standard Windows 7 x86 and x64 images. I am experiencing an issue where running either the .exe or .msi installers, the client PC experiences a BSOD.
If you’re using a factory image, make sure your drivers are the most recent from HP, and in particular take a look at the Intel Rapid Storage driver (if it is installed) and make sure it is the most recent.
As far as I know, Page Fault In Nonpaged Area is often caused by faulty memory, corruption on disk, etc. So since this sounds like it’s happening on all machines, it’s probably a driver conflict but it is odd the driver is not trapped in the BSOD if this were the case.
