BT Email blocked by URL Phising warning

My login to my BT Email account has just been blocked. Avast says that this is an URL Phishing attempt. So how do I access my BT Email account ?? Thanks.

I have a BT email account and don’t experience this problem.
I use MailWasher Pro that connects to my BT email servers and checks the content, filters spam, etc. and then calls my email program Thunderbird which downloads the remaining email.
Are you using Web Mail or an email Client (like Thunderbird in my case) to connect to the BT email server ?

A screenshot of the Avast alert with the Details option enabled could help.

  • Attaching Images to your post - When you Click the Reply button it opens a text window for you to post your comment (reply or post).
    Click the Preview button, that shows what you have input and expands it to include ‘Attachments and other options’. Click that it further expands, here you can attach images, etc. at the bottom of your post.

Hi there. Thanks for replying to my post. I am using webmail. The problem has gone away now, it was active for all the previous evening. Either Avast have deal with it or something else. Many thanks !
