bug at startup of avast home

Hi.
After updating yesterday, on reboot I got the following message (translation from french approximate) and no avast startup:
" The start point of procedure dep_strFreeString not found in Dynamic Links library aswcmnos.dll "
I get the same message if I try to manually start avast.
Do i have to uninstall and reinstall Avast ?

*** Sorry all ! A simple search on " aswcmnos.dll " gave me a suggestion of repairing avast, and it worked. I usually search before asking. Thanks anyway ! ***

First, try a repair of avast. Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button and scroll down to Repair, click next and follow.
