Yesterday I got the free 30 day trial of Avast and I decided to scan my whole computer. After the scan, Avast found one threat: C:\Program Files (x86)\REALTEK\RTL8187 Wireless LAN utility\RTLDHCP.exe I told Avast to delete it. Was it a false positive? Am I safe now if Avast deleted it? Please help.
Avast said it was a rootkit, btw. That’s why I put “rootkit” in the title.
