C++ Programs Visual Studio 2013 Access Denied Error

Morning Guys,

I’ve been starting a class in VS 2013 C++ programming. When compiling my first program, everything runs smoothly. When running my first program (F5 or ctrl+F5), my program outputs onto the command prompt “Access Denied”. The program is your standard “Hello World” program. So, I’m positive that it not the issue. When I disabled all of Avast’s features, the program would output its information correctly. But I’m rather fond of virus protection (especially Avast) and I don’t want to deal with disabling and enabling software when I want to work on my programming. Has anyone seen this issue or found a work around?

BTW, I have done all of the other forum suggestions: editing Application Config Files to “true” or “enabled” settings. Reinstalling VS 2013 (9.3GB!) Building new programs. Running as administrator. Deleting IIS Express. Adding VS 2013 to my exceptions rules on all firewalls. Unchecking “Read Only” in the properties of my program. Etc etc etc. I troubleshooted this for hours before a Russian website mentioned Avast was causing their issue.

Put a global exclusion to your development folder in avast.
