It does not reflect well on Avast competence that it warns about a disabled camera. Get my drift?
Well, no big news that the ads are not too smart.
Some of these ads just bring a smile to my face as they ‘really are dumb’ (e.g. they don’t dig around deep in your system) they just throw cr4p at the wall and see what sticks. If it really did much/any checking people would possibly think that worse that just slinging ads and see what sticks.
They can’t see that my laptop has the camera obscured (I never use it). But the one that proves the don’t check is the Secure Line VPN popup they don’t check as people with a VPN still get this ad.
any ideas how to disable the these popoup ads?
Despite the advertising department’s best efforts, I continue to resist its attempts to dilute my enthusiasm for Avast’s superlative protection.
Not in the Avast free product, it is effectively the cost of Free.
You don’t say what avast product you are using (?) these ads can be stopped in Avast Premium.
