Can I get the Avast 4.8 voice back?

I just upgraded to avast 5 today, and I like it a lot… The only thing that annoys me is the new update voice :frowning:

I liked the one from 4.8, but the new one just sounds a little weird…

Is there any way I can get the old voice back?

:-[ I totally agree! The new voice may be some very nice person. But their voice is annoying. And I wish the old one was back! Bummer! :cry: I hope they notify us if we are able to have the other voice back. But I really do appreciate their wonderful service. It really shows how sounds in every day life affect people though. :wink:

Many people says that the voice is sexy lol and you are talking totally opposite :slight_smile:
Just click on silent and it will not even tell you that it is updated :slight_smile:

If you still want the other voiceover ones then you will need to copy them around a bit too as they will not be used because you have to change a setting when you follow the tutorial.

I think bob also posted a link in that thread to the avast! 4 sounds in a zip file for use if needed.

Hi all!

Please forgive me if I’m in the wrong thread…but I’m using Windows 7 64 bit version and have not had any sounds whatsoever from Avast! No voice with the daily updates, nothing when a virus was found when surfing…no sound at all!! I’m not use to it not responding the way it use too!! Is there some way I can do a repair or should I do a re-install? Again, I apologize if my subject is out of place. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. :slight_smile:
