I’ve been searching through my password manager for accounts using this old email address that I want to move away from.
The last time I used this was 7 years ago, and while I still use Avast Antivirus today, I think I could just create a new account if I ever need support.
From what I’ve searched, only the admins here can delete this account, so can you please do that?

I don’t know if this might have unknown consequences. When you install avast you effectively have an account created in my.avast.com this essentially uses the same credentials used to log-on to the forums. This could mean you would need to connect your installation of avast to another account.
There is possibly a better solution, if you open your my.avast.com account and add another email address. When this email address has been validated, go back into your my.avast.com account and set the new email as your default email address. Once this is setup and working, you could then delete the historic email you want to get rid of.
