avast! popped up a message suggesting I abort an update because the file was rare or ??? (sorry can’t remember). I allowed it to abort but now realize that it is okay and I need to allow the download.
What do I need to do to let that file come back through?
Yeah, sorry, that would seem like an obvious thing to try. I didn’t download it. It was a program doing an automatic update. I can go to the site and try to download the update though. Thanks. I’ll give that a try.
Uncertain about leaving this open or marking it solved. I won’t be able to complete it until Monday or later probably.
It’s Rhapsody’s beta player.
Aborting the download has now rendered the player unable to be launched at all. I’ve gone to the site and looked for a link to download it and didn’t find it. Looked in my Downloads folder so I could reinstall and didn’t find it there either. I’m pretty sure I was emailed a link to do the initial install. I need to get to work and it isn’t a life/death situation so I’m leaving it alone. I’ve emailed Rhapsody’s tech support to see if they can locate a file for me. This shouldn’t be that hard, but maybe because of the beta the files aren’t readily available…
