Forgive me if this was answered somewhere, but I can’t find it.
I’ve got both Thunderbird (for me) and Eudora 6.1 (for the wife) running to use our respective Earthlink accounts. Thunderbird works just fine with the e-mail scanning (although it seems slow on the send, but that’s ok), but I can not get the Eudora to work to send mail. Receiving mail works fine, but I can not send.
Last error said SSL negotiation failed. I’ve also gotten a message telling me to allow authentication, but I have that option already selected.
Any help would be most appreciated. I just loaded avast today, so it is the latest version. I’m on XP SP2 here.
If you need to have authentication enabled, you will have to wait for the next version of Avast. Than it will be added.
And to setup Eudora with Avast you can use the mail wizzard or do it manually as explained in the manual of Avast as well as in many threads on this board.
