i can not update to the new version either by starting the update from the program nor by installing the new file from http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_pro_antivirus_setup.exe.
Both updates versions don’t start the update (win10 1115)

What happens if you run the installer file ?

the actual version is 11.1.2253, if i run the update from the installer ther is a short information window, that an update is runnigs and then the update process dies
Got any other security software installed ?
Maybe it’s time for a clean install ???

Perhaps first a repair and than updating is working, although a clean installation won’t hurt
