Is there such a thing as being able to pin certain System Restore Points? You know … as in the equivalent of giving them Sticky Post status like posts on a forum … so that certain System Restore Points don’t eventually move off the board of selection of System Restore Points available. I don’t want to increase the size of the space for how many System Restore Points can be saved.
I don’t think it’s possible with restore points :-\ but it’s certainly and easier task to achieve with system images moved to an external drive where you can have as many as you like.
Then maybe it’s something Windows 9 needs to incorporate. ;D
Alrighty then, thanks anyway, Craig.
No problem
No, but you can delete unneeded restore points and only keep the important ones. (E.g. with CCleaner)
Maybe this helps:

I didn’t try it.
Oh, I already do that, Asyn. Yep, I’ve been using CCleaner to periodically delete, weed out, cultivate System Restore Points both on my computer and on my sister’s computer.
But, somehow, somewhere along the way I still managed to lose some of the key Restore Points I had created at the different stages of the previous Windows Reinstall. So, I wound up just going, “Awww heck! Just do another Windows Reinstall.”
Unless I missed it while reading the info in that link, abruptum, I’m not seeing any indication that that System Restore Point Creator has a Restore Point Pinning function.
I guess I misunderstood something about System Point Creator options.Sorry.
I always use it. I’m also the user that produced the video featured on his site.
