Canceling auto renewal

I have seen this discussed before (as far back as 2012) but I have not seen a solution… I renewed my “Avast Internet Security” for one year with the auto renewal selected (required for discount through Digital River), with the understanding that I could cancel the auto renewal at any time. I have logged onto ‘My Subscriptions Portal’ and can view my order. When I click on the link to 'Manage Subscription" it requests my email and password from the email sent to me my Digital River. I get the error “Enter a valid email address.”. Now I know I had to enter my email address to access the portal in the first place, and I have re-entered my email more than 5 attempts. My caps lock is not on. I am unable to manage this auto renewal. What am I missing?

I have never liked ‘auto renewal’ on many levels. Most of the time, it’s an never ending process filled with issues and frustration. Recently, I simply didn’t buy a software program that forced “auto renewal” (No opt out option) and took my money to the competitor. Simple
I’m not sure what to advise other then stay committed and possibly others will add some helpful info

you need to go to the main website and submit a ticket to get it canceled, its all a tad awkward compared to having check box, but at least its not too difficult

Thank you! I will give that a go. Do you mean the main digitalriver.com website or Avast’s?

Avast’s website is the one i did it on
