It seems it’s impossible to cancel my product. I have tried calling, no answer for over an hour. I’ve tried chat, no one ever picks up for several hours. There’s no email, the refund request on the website doesn’t work as it sends you to chat without a refund, which is also doesn’t work. Is this intentional?
I have the same problem, impossible to cancel or to gat a refund… Looks like a fraud
This is me, too. It says my subscription is ending on the 27th and it does not automatically renew. I don’t even remember setting that one up first of all. And then it claims in red that it does not automatically renew, then why are you charging me 71 dollars. Luckily, I am broke so they not getting any money. Then the website has the nerve to say update payment method after you tried to charge me 4 times at 5 in the morning like a thief in the night. I never upgraded my Avast stuff and it still says I haven’t so I am confused. And I am also not getting a response with this phone number. I am still on hold. And you can’t cancel the account because it says the subscription keeps going anyway. If you are paying through Paypal, you can go to paypal settings and hit “Stop Paying With Paypal” in the subscription or autopay section.

They’ve taken £139.99 from my account. I had turned off the auto-renew, but apparently that doesn’t matter. I’m a little annoyed right now, that’s a fair chunk of money out of my account.
Stayed on hold for over an hour and got nowhere. And have got nowhere on the avast chat either.
It’s well predatory the way they have done this.
Definitely not going to be signing up for another year after this
