Cannot complete Registration for year 2 - error

When I try to update the license registration for my currently running Avast on my macbook air, I get the following error message (this is from inside the Avast application, as it was failing from the message popup as well):

Authorization failed.

• Error code: 7015
• Error ident: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-60007 “The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error -60007.)” (errAuthorizationInteractionNotAllowed: The authorization was denied since no user interaction was possible. )

I have 2 weeks left on my license…

Hello, this is an error provided by Apple’s authorization service. Unfortunatelly, I can’t tell you much more about it. The only advice I can figure out is to reboot the computer and if the problem persists, uninstall the avast application and install it again.
