Cannot delete rootkit: hidden file

When I perform a full scan I get a message stating I have an infected file. When I look at the log it states that it is a rootkit: hidden file. Ths action I select is “delete”. Avast states that I have to reboot my pC and sggests that I perform a boot time scan. I have done that twice and each time the boot time scan shows no infected files but a subsequent full scan states that I have this infected rootkit:hidden file.

How can I delete this file.

A screenshot would be nice.
Before you delete anything read this first.

Found the answer myself. Open PC in safe mode, search for folder, select file, delete file. Problem solved.
