The Browser seems Chromium based, I was able to add a :Dark Mode addon for but cannot get a theme installed, it constantly errors. Please help

When I try to add any theme I get the message:
An error has occurred
There was a problem with the download. Please contact the developer or try again later.
That has nothing to do with Secure Browser, The extension apparently is not available.

I personally hate dark mode. To each their own. 
Again it is not just this theme, but all the themes I tried, I use them fine in regular Chrome so do not see why this Chromium based browser has an issue with something as basic as themes. Anyway don’t worry about it I will just uninstall this as it is obviously not ready for the masse to be used. Good luck in the future but I will stick with fully functional customizable browsers.
It’s a Browser designed to keep you safe and secure. If you care more about themes, there are plenty of other browsers available.

I am sorry to hear that you will not stick with our browser. As was stated here we focus mainly on security and privacy features.
The next version 77.0 will include fix, that will enable running Avast Secure Browser in dark mode.
We plan to support themes but unfortunately it will not be any time soon. I hope we will see you back once we will implement this.
