cannot get indicator to go away

Hi everyone,

My Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 just updated to Android 8.0.
There is a small 1 next to the icon which notifies me something needs to be corrected. Cannot figure out what the program is complaining about. The 1 will not go away. Any ideas?

Fixed this by turning off app icon badges for avast in notifications. It reflected the “We’re always looking out for you” notification. A bit annoying but with the badges turned off it is better. Notification should still show in the drop down area.
