cannot input to Blue screen - Trojan-gen virus

I just loaded avast 4 Home. The initial scan revealed a Trojan-gen virus and recommneded rebooting the system. The re-boot came up with a blue screen with the Windows XP logo on the top right, the Avast!antivirus copyright,
“Report file: C:\Program Files\Alvil Software\Avast 4\DATA\report\aswboot.txt”
“Scan of all local drives”
“File: c:\1.exe is infected by win32:Trojan-gen.”
“Press 1 to Delete”
2 Delete all
3 …

Anyway, I cannot select any of the numeric options, use my mouse, or use the ESC key. How do I proceed? :frowning:

Do you have a USB mouse or keyboard, if so ensure that your bios is set to enable USB or just use a plug in one (can never remember the name allways think of ps2 Duh)
