When I try to run the installer for avast! Premier 2014, this message pops up:
“avast! installer cannot continue because the last avast! operation was performed without restarting. Please reboot your computer first and then run the installer again.”
I have rebooted, I have uninstalled avast! lots of times, i even cleaned everything that avast! left, and I know i mentioned it but i rebooted like 10 time in a row, same error message.
Any help? >:(
Uninstall avast using THIS TOOL and try again to install.
I tried that tool. As I said I don’t have avast! on my computer anymore but the installer says i need to reboot.I rebooted but the same error message
Well, you do have at least some parts of avast still on that system.
Did you run the tool in safe mode?
If so, run msconfig and see if avast (or a part of it) is mentioned there anywhere.
If so disable / remove it.
