I have been testing the apk scan feature of Avast Mobile Security when installing my backed up apk files, but it just shows,“Scanning unknown” and proceeds to say that it cannot open the file with Avast Mobile Security.
Is this a normal thing? A bug? I’m using Android 9, Huawei Nova 3i

Should you be unable to open APK files using Avast Mobile Security, it is probable that you need to allow your browser or file manager to install apps from unknown sources in the security settings of your device. Furthermore, make sure that the real-time protection feature of Avast is activated and not disabled by system power-saving options, as this may disrupt the processing of APK files.
