Cannot tick 'Enable tracking protection and detection'

I get an error ‘WebProxyProcessError.terminated’

AntiTrack is showing Privacy Protection Disabled and I cannot seem to enable anything.

Mac, Sequoia 15.1.1, Safari 18.1.1

Same problem with Sequoia 15.2. and Safari 18.2. Any ideas / help someone?
