You guys seriously have to sort out the updater in AMS. I’m using just my WiFi for updating but most of the time it doesn’t update even when i’m connected on WiFi for 10-15 minutes.
Also auto update apparently doesn’t work at all now because it says OUTDATED with yellow in AMS and if i go check it manually, nothing happens. There is just circle spinning and that’s it. Nothing updates.
Please check your servers and also make it that AMS checks for update few seconds after WiFi is established. It’s annoying thinking you’re up to date while you’re realyl not and then you check the update versions constantly. I never had to bother about that with DrWeb that i used to have on my phone. It worked perfectly and updated perfectly almost as soon as i connected to WiFi.
The uninstallation process is just plain ridiculous and impossible to perform. You’d expect at least an “Uninstall” button inside Anti-theft once you log in with your own password. But no, you have to litteraly hack the thing and it just plain didn’t work. Yes, i am serious. Good thing i’m making backups regularly with ClockworkMod tool.
No error at all. Just the progress circle was spinning indefinitely until i got fed up, turned WiFi off and locked the screen. Then it stopped the circle but still hasn’t updated.
For your information… I thought it was the same issue.
I get on my screen (top menu bar) the notification of non updated. I could not make it directly by clicking on the message (no action). Then I turned off this notification with the button ‘erase/clean’. Returning to Avast! it mentioned ‘secured’ and the parameters show that the update was done 16 hours ago.
I believe that possibly the issue is with the refreshment of notification but not with the update.
(Translated from French, then the words I use here may be different in English)
Ye, I’m aware of the problem with the outdated notification, in the case of clicking it the update is done but the notification doesn’t disappear. It will be fixed.
