Cannot Update Avast

I cant update avast always says package broken and recently it did find a virus which is on malwarebytes itself! it was removed after that I decided not to keep malwarebytes cus my system was like bogging down and hangs up frequently for whatever reasons but not now, and my avast window whenever I open it always been opening in a full window which is not normal, im hoping if anyone can remote connect my computer and sort this out or any suggestions? thankyou

do you also have Norton installed ? http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=117225.0

t did find a virus which is on malwarebytes itself!
have you changed the default scan settings?

i turned on pup settings on and sensitivity to high and ticked “use code emulation”, ticked “all packers” and this all in the full scan that"s it

yeah i have Norton installed yep

NEVER install multiple AV. this will give you a slow machine, mysterious windows errors and false detection
and conflict with the other AV

run Norton removal tool and reboot #26a. http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/

do you know what PUP is ?
dont you think the avast guys know what settings that work best?

well here it is i know the “found virus on malwarebyte itself” is very highly unlikely so i copied this here C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue\AppCrash_mbam.exe_1d122ab2609aff95d49e113cdde7e7611686376_cab_0c31142d\WERAEB.tmp.hdmp phew that’s long yea see that “mbam.exe” that’s how i knew it was malwarebytes itself you can see it is high severity on the picture

and no its not because i use Norton internet security i had Norton I.S for two days before i downloaded malwarebytes and things started happening after that but before that it was perfectly fine

do you know what PUP is ?
yea i know what pup is its potentially unwanted something i forgot it but i know that that setting has little to do not like a huge on/off of something, probably the reason why avast put the settings there for users to customize

i am very certain that its not because of Norton I.S and avast at the same time I.S and a normal antivirus are two different things, it don’t and wont cause malfunction of the system and i do have a stable system its windows 8, which by stable i mean my computer don’t have any conflicts between Norton I.S and avast…i just know i had earlier conflicts years ago and i know this what i’m experiencing is not a conflict between them and from my theory also which i say no so is there any other suggestions

When and why a third-party antivirus software should be uninstalled?
https://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=574

If you want to install avast! antivirus software on your computer, please ensure that there is no any other third-party antivirus software already installed. Running multiple antivirus programs on the same computer can cause conflicts, that usually result in false positive detections, performance degradation and system instability. Therefore it is strongly recommended to uninstall all other previously installed antivirus applications before installing avast! on your computer.

thanks for the clarification
