Can't find what this is.. ?

Since yesterday I am having reduced speed both in games and in the Internet , I didn’t install anything new that i know of.

a quick tryout in task manager and i found an new file i never seen before :

**exmodul&&.exe
where ** are numbers that change every time
and && are letters like bh ui and such

when this process in active i can see alot of activity in the net area of task manager , which is usually only on 0% on both slides when nothing is working , now it’s alot more and keeps jumping , as soon and i close that process the bars goes back to normal 0% net usage , but after a while (can take 3 min or even 40) it will come back again with a different number in the start.

I tracked to where those files and it seems they are created in

c:\windows\temp\
c:\windows\prefetch\

I ran a few time several anti-spy programs and they found a few things (not alot thou) and i removed those , I also did a full anti-virus check (AVG) and found 2 small viruses (removed) , rebooted a few times but still it keeps getting back.

It doesn’t appear in MSCONFIG , or at least not something i can see , i removed everything else beside the basics in there.
I added a log if it helps as I can’t understand anything from this 2 much.

Any kind of help with be appreciated

Hi Abomb23,

This is actually the avast! support forum.

Since you’re here, you are infected with IRCBot-FP.

http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/trojircbotfp.html

This malware is in avast!'s definitions, so you could try uninstalling AVG and trying avast!

Run a boot time scan when given the option after installing.

Do not install avast! witout removing AVG and any other AV you have installed.

You also have some spyware, so run scans with Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy. I also recommend Ewido anti-Trojan. Run these programs in safe mode (tap F8 while booting):

Ewido: http://www.ewido.net/en/

Ad-Aware: http://www.lavasoft.de/

Spybot Search & Destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/

Hi Abomb23,

Every forum has a search function. This question was answered in this thread:
