Can't install msi files

Every time I try to run a msi file, I get the following(See attached pic). Googled my problem but none of the solutions on the web works. Can anyone help me?

Did you use a Registry cleaner?
Maybe you can reinstall the Windows Installer software.

Thanks you very much Tech!It worked! But it is kind of strange that it worked since the file association fixes are for xp and I am on vista.

No, it’s not strange. It works further than XP. Works on Windows 7 also.
