Strange… Can’t you download again and test with a new setup file?
If it fails,

  1. Uninstall avast from Control Panel first.
  2. Boot.
  3. Use Avast Uninstall for complete uninstallation.
  4. Boot.
  5. Install again by this command on the folder you’ve donwload and save the install file: setupeng.exe /forceinstall
    Where setupeng.exe is the name of the executable.

I downloaded the new file and the problem is same.

The problem may be old registry keys, did you also download the uninstall utility and follow Tech’s steps completely, including running the setup file with the /forceinstall switch ?

Yes, I did the steps.

The setup file seems to be corrupt in anyway… the SZC-KDE skins works perfectly here…
