Can't Login Y!H

Hello there .
I have a problem, I can’t login to Yahoo messenger after I installed Avast! Free Antivirus ver 5 but I can login to Y!M when I disable Avast.
I dont know how to fix. It is my first time to use Avast , I hope someone will help me .

Which was your old antivirus, before avast? How did you uninstall it?
Do you use a firewall? Which one?
Is there any other program that is not working properly? Can you browse the Internet?

Hi Tech , thank you for your reply .
My ex-anitivirus was KAV7 and I used KAVremover to uninstall it.
I dont use any firewall program and all programs are working normal except Y!M can’t log in and I can browse the Internet .

Hope that someone can help here… I never used Yahoo Messenger. Just Pidgin.
Can you repair your Yahoo installation?

what ym do have 8, 9, or 10?

My ex-yahoo is ver9 but when I install ver10 all is normal .

10 has a troubleshoot option press that show details while continue log-in just check the remember my password so that log-in will continue. other method while log-in open IE or FireFox so that its modify your connection. :wink:
