I purchased a new MacBook Pro 2020. I used the Mac Transfer wizard to transfer everything from OLD MacBook to new MacBook.
Everything worked flawlessly, now Avast crashes on the NEW MacBook and I can’t even open it to remove it. The dump crash is extremely long and details.
At this point, all I want to do is to remove it and reinstall.
The Transfer took 22 hours (yeah lots of data). To reset the new MacBook and redo will take far too long and this guy is in production in our office.
Thankyou for this Asyn, but it is less than useful. Reread the post and you will see that I cannot Uninstall it.
Issues with it not working with bigsur is not the point.
We can’t uninstall it and we now have it on 3 other macs.
In short, we will get this removed and will never install it again. I realize this is not your issue as you are a contributing member. But it would be beneficial if you could understand the underlying issue/comment in a post.
Again, appreciate the contribution but we are looking for a solution to REMOVE it.
