Can't remove Malware-gen & Trojan-gen

Hi everyone! Thank you in advance for reading my post. I need help because I’m getting annoying popups saying that a malware was blocked and although I tried several procedures I couldn’t remove it!

Here are the popups that appear constantly:

First this:

Followed by this:

I also attach the logs from Avast, OTL and Adw.

I would really appreciate if someone could help me because these notifications appearing all the time are driving me mad!

P.S: I’m sorry for my English but it’s not my mother tongue.

can you also attach Malwarebytes and aswMBR log

this may be a Siref rootkit infection …so the aswMBR log is important http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

Malware removers are notified: It may take hours before one arrive so be patient

Hi @pao_uy

Re-run OTL.exe.

[*]Copy and paste the following text written inside of the quote box into the Custom Scans/Fixes box.

:Files
C:\Windows\Installer\{55f2afc3-ebc1-73c7-edea-5811903abd9f}
C:\Users\Pao II\AppData\Local\{55f2afc3-ebc1-73c7-edea-5811903abd9f}
ipconfig /flushdns /c

:commands
[CREATERESTOREPOINT]
[emptytemp]

[*]Then click the Run Fix button at the top.
[*]Let the program run unhindered; it will reboot the system when it is done and open notepad with logreport. Attach here that logreport.

Download ComboFix from here and save it to your Desktop.
If you are unsure how ComboFix works please read this guide carefully.
note: ComboFix must be downloaded to your Desktop.

Temporarily disable your AntiVirus program.

Run ComboFix. Click on I Agree!
ComboFix will check if there is a newer version of ComboFix available.
Click Yes if prompted to download.
ComboFix will display DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY ON SOFTWARE.
Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue.
If Recovery Console is not installed, ComboFix will offer download & installation.
Click Yes to allow ComboFix to install Recovery Console.
Note:Do not mouse-click Combofix’s window while it is running.
If you see a message like “Illegal operation attempted on a registry key that has been marked for deletion” just restart computer once more.

When the tool is finished, it will produce a log report for you. (typical location: C:ComboFix.txt )
Attach log reports ( ComboFix.txt) back to topic.

I attached MBAM log but when I run aswMBR scan it suddenly stops and this message appears:

Then the program shuts down so I can’t get the scan complete.

your Malwarebytes database is to days old

you may try to run aswMBR in safe mode …

anyway it seems argus can fix this without the aswMBR log so just continue with his advice

I attached the logs you required. After restarting the computer combofix showed the message “Illegal operation attempted on a registry key that has been marked for deletion” so I restarted the computer one more time as the instructions said but I don’t know if I had to do it immediately (as I did) or accept the message and let the program finish and then restart…

Delete the ComboFix icon from the desktop and download a new ComboFix and then run

Done! Here is the log…

This looks good, do you have any problems?

After doing what you said yesterday the popups no longer appeared!

So is my computer clean now?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

So is my computer clean now? :)

Yes

It is necessary to uninstall the ComboFix :

[*] Click Start (or

[*] In the line of text type in (Copy) the following:

ComboFix /Uninstall

Note that there is a space between " ComboFix " and " /Uninstall " .

[*] then click OK (or press Enter ).

Wait for the uninstall process is complete.

Run OTL and hit the CleanUp button.

Ok, it’s done, thank you very much for your help
