Cant stop 'Threat blocked' popup

Cant stop ‘Threat blocked’ popup (image attached).
Click on ‘Move to virus chest’ and ‘keep blocking’ but as soon as close popup it comes back.
And Virus Chest shows as empty.
Just started today 4/28.
Tried W10 Control Panel ‘repair’ but no luck.
Cant find in emails.
Thoughts?

Could this be releated to this ??

Thanks for the reply.
Avast just updated definitions to 200428-4 and subject popups stopped.
Also, the subject email (which should have showed up much earlier today) finally showed up on PoPPeeper, labeled VIRUS(as usual), and we deleted (along with a couple others that arrived after the update); and PopPeeper is also working much better now.
Gladly the update seemed to fix things.
Also for a while (until restarted pc) after the fix and when opened Avast ‘user interface’ was getting notification that “Some shields are turned OFF. Please turn on your Anti-Exploit and Anti-Rootkit Shield for maximum protection.”
Will wait and see on that one, or go to Protection/CoreShields later after determine if really needed and/or how to turn off if causes problems.
Take care.

Continuous popup is back today 4/29.

The ‘Threat blocked’ email is found in
‘C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\Log.db’ and
‘C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\vps.1.etl’,
but not in PopPeeper (PP) inbox (data.db) files.

Need to disable ‘shields control’ (at menu bar popup) for 10min in order to get PP emails.
And after re-enabled ‘shields controls’ (at menu bar popup and user interface), Mail Shield wouldnt turn back on (see attachment).

And every time after click on ‘Move to virus chest’ we go to virus chest and its empty.

Guess we just leave ‘Threat blocked’ popup on desktop (since it re-popups immediately after click on ‘Keep blocking’ or X-close) and wait for another Avast update ?

And/or would it be ok to delete the Avast log files (noted above) as a possible fix ?

Or maybe uninstall (at control panel) and reinstall Avast Free ?

So far so good.
After next update the popups stopped, and after several more updates still no popups.
Hopefully the issue is fixed.

‘Popups’ are back.
Guessing Avast and Pop Peeper are at odds, and not possible for Avast to fix ?
Ps: Turning off the ‘Mail Shield’ seems like the only way to stop them for now.

Hello,
if I understand it correctly, the “Pop Peeper” is downloading infected email and Avast is detecting it. So the solution I see is to delete the infected email on the server so the “Pop Peeper” will not try to download it.
