I am in day 4 of Avast home version Virus TRIAL. I have Avast listed in uninstall. However…it will not delete.
Program FIles revealed a Folder and I examined it for a way to UnInstall but came up empty.
Was given a warning about a virus showing up in the root directory of Avast.
This struck me odd…how is it that Virus protection programs, can actually receive the very thing it is supposed to prevent?
Im stuck.
One thing is for sure, accidently I put those files that were struck into the chest.Being that I paid no attention to what it was I was adding and deleting. This was stupid…but I just wasnt prepared to see that Avast was infected…
Now Im not sure which way to turn…im stuck

Use the one for avast! 4.x
Why not just reinstall Avast? This will repair Avast.
Or use the uninstaller and then install Avast again.
And why do you not use the FREE key for the home version?
Besides the installation, any software requirers proper configuration…
Do you have (or had in the past) Panda Antivirus?
Please, restore the files from Chest before you uninstall (using the procedures mentioned above by RejZor and Eddy) or, otherwise, they will be lost forever… But, please, be sure they’re clean with an on-line scanning…
