CAN'T UNISTALL AVAST 4 HOME IN VISTA64 HOME PREMIUM

i have avast 4 home installed on vista64 home premium.

i updated the latest comodo firewall and it screwed the functionality of avast.

i tried to reinstall avast 4 home and it would not do anything.

when i try to uninstall from the control panel, it gives me an error code box (sorry, i did not write it down)

i tried to delete the avast folders and files in the safe mode but it denies me the permission (same in regular windows) even though i am the administrator and the only user of the laptop.

i’ve tried “restore” but it did not help at all.

what is my option?..do a full recovery?

try to get somewhere “aswclear.exe”, I received this eraser from avast

The utility may need to be run in safe mode.
