Cant update avast

I am having issues updating avast…i have gone into windows firewall and told it to allow avast to access the internet but every time i try and update i get a access denied error and when i try and manually update the files i get :

Can’t install vps update. Please report the following errorcodes:
Ver:4.9.1229
SI: 0X00000002
ST: 0Xfffffffffff
Le: 0X00000000

Any ideas?

Please, post the last 300-350 lines of avast log: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\log\Setup.log

uninstalling and reinstalling fixed the issue
