Hello has anyone experienced that Avast is blocking websites with Captcha? How to overrun this?
I haven’t noticed this, but there isn’t much to work with.
In what way is Avast blocking the site/s, is it an Avast Alert by the Web Shield and if so a screenshot of the Alert with the See Details option selected might help.
Or is it some other notice displayed to the screen and if so what.
yove not mention which version of Avast you have.
I know capch can be a pita with VPN’s at times and block certain shopping sites but not seen this with avast at all.
Hello, I got this problem on my computer. Recently I have prolonged my Avast subscription and have added some new features like SecureLine VPN and AntiTrack Premium. On some web services with Cloudflare’s “Verifying you are human” (a check box) it always fails. I notced that the blocker is Avast AntiTrack feature. If Anti-tracking is disabled everything works correcltly.
My Avast current version is 24.12.9725a (kompilacja 24.12.9725.897) but I got a similar issue few weeks ago as well on the older version/
I’m having the same issue but sometimes even worse. On some sites. it asks me to check the box to make sure I’m human, and I do so… it registers I’ve checked the box but moments later the box is unchecked… This ends in a neverending loop of me checking the I a human box, little whirley circle, box becomes unchecked… rinse and repeat. Also, on some other websites… after entering my login and password a popup window will appear asking me to verify I’m a human but there will be no box to check or captcha to complete. There is a submit button and the “please verify you are human text,” but that is it. This only happened after reinstalling Avast Premium, Avast Anti-Track…I’ve tried turning off anti track and closing the program but that doesn’t fix it don’t have the VPN turned on. Also, I do have quite a few browser extensions but nothing related to scripting, ad blocking, or popup blocking. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Will show a screenshot of one example of checkbox not showing up. Build 24.12.9725.903 for Avast Premium and 2501300-10 for Virus Definitions.
Update, after using End Process of Avast Anti-Track in Task Manager, when I went to login to the same website related to the screenshot I posted, I entered my email and password and after pressing login I wasn’t even presented with the “Sorry about this, we just need to check that you’re a real person” popup. It just logged me straight into my account. So now I figured out why this particular website was having the issue and maybe it will be for others, but what if I want to keep Anti-track on… will this always be an issue? Is there a way to add certain websites and their captcha popups to a whitelist of some sort? I understand there iis always a little bit of playing around with new Anti-Virus settings, but after installing Avast (possibly just Anti-Track) I have been running into issue after issue that aren’t life ending, just frustrating and time consuming.
