CDA Converter

Can anyone recommend a good CDA to MP3 (or to WAV, etc.) converter? I need to get CDA file off several CDs onto my computer and in a format that will work with my transcription software. It’s not music, but a recording of a focus group session. From the little research I’ve done it appears that the CD has to be ripped? Does this process leave the CDA file on the original CD intact? (Excuse my ignorance; never done this before.)

Thanks for any help!

Pam

Let me Google that for you:

For years I’m using Winamp Pro for all audio works (rip, burn, convert…), but winamp free will do what you need too

I happen to like jetAudio it does so many things very well.

Thanks everyone for your help. Bob, JetAudio looks great.

I’m up against a wall, so to speak, on time, needing to get this transcript completed and was shocked to see the CDA format, one I’d never dealt with before. Your helped saved me time in research that I don’t have right now and I’m confident about it since it’s something recommended by a person here!

Thanks again!

Pam

Glad to help and happy to hear your problem is solved.

I see that jetAudio has the dreaded Ask.com toolbar!
Be carful that it is not installed!

When it comes to only ripping a CD, than nothing is better than CDex. Small, simple, fast.
