Charging me for a product I haven't had for 3 years!

I had Avast 3 years ago and paid for the full version. Nearly a year later I got a new laptop and didn’t want Avast anymore. When it was time to renew, I forgot to stop my auto renewal and was charged for another year license. This is fair enough, as I hadn’t cancelled it, so it was my fault. I then cancelled my renewal and was therefore not charged the following year. Now, this year, having not had Avast for 3 years, have decided to charge me £40 again!!! Firstly, I don’t even have any Avast product, and secondly, having already cancelled the renewal, why have I been charged again? I have tried to contact Avast, but have had no reply in 3 weeks, and one email ticket has been closed. I have heard absolutely nothing from them and I’m getting really pissed off. Has anyone else had a similar problem and what did you have to do to get your money back? Avast, if you’re reading this, sort it out!!!

Re-open the ticket.

Could be it was closed due to no response from or inactivity for that ticket in which case the system automatically closes it.
