China market: 3Q shipments of anti-virus software and firewalls

Anti-virus software and firewall products shipped to the China market in the third quarter had an estimated total value of 285 million yuan (US$35.8 million) and 649 million yuan (US$81.5 million), respectively, according to China-based consulting firm Analysys International.

The third-quarter total shipment value rose on quarter by 6.9% for firewall software and by 5.9% for virus protection software, Analysys indicated.
