Had an update this morning after that Avast warns that chrome.exe is a trojan?

Not on mine. Right now, I am posting this using chrome.exe.

1. What is your avast virus database version? (Latest: 101125-0) - I see that 101124-2 was released to fix a false positive, ,may be it was for chrome.exe, try updating your avast! av.
2. What is your Google chrome version? (Latest: 7.0.517.44)

Do you not mean chromeinst.exe ?

Please post the full information (or screen shot of the alert window) of the detection, file name, location and malware name ?

Well, I had a new update less than an hour ago and the problem is gone. Avast must have been aware of the problem.
