Avast is current and updated. Ran full scan nothing found. Ran bootscan - result C: ProgramData{559F25A3-87D2-4D88-ADC5-DFC277CDD45}\SETUP.RES|>HSTART.EXE win32:HiddenStart [PUP]
Avast could not delete, repair, chest. re-ran full scan nothing found, repeat Boot scan completed with same results.
Is this a problem or false positive?
Thanks for help, new at this.
Found this to be hidden file for Ancestry 2012 software operation.
PUP - not a virus = Possible Unwanted Program a program that can be used for good or bad if abused
the AV does not know who installed it and if it is something you want so it just give you a warning
