Clean Site Still Blacklisted by Avast After 3 Weeks (False Positive)

Hi Avast Team,

Our domain is still being flagged as a threat, even though it was confirmed clean over a month ago by our host (WPEngine).

We submitted a false positive report over 3 weeks ago but haven’t seen any change.

Scans on virustotal [dot] com and sucuri [dot] net show no issues. Even Norton now considers it clean.

The block is affecting our entire domain:

www [dot] transformationacademy [dot] com

Including connected platforms like Shopify and Thinkific.

Can someone please help escalate the review or let us know the next steps?

Thank you so much.

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.

OK I tried to visit and got the Alert as expected, I used the option ‘Report false detection’ in the Alert Window.

I assume that you used the New location to report both a False Positive and or a False Negative (for File or URL)

You won’t get a direct response but it should be analysed within 48 hours, if found to be false it will be removed.

Thank you! Yes I did. I should proably submit again just in case. We are concerned since it has been a long time and it really. Impacted our small bussiness. I apreciate your response.

I would rather hope reporting via the Avast Alert interface would be better as it gives a unique ID in relation to that alert - where the report form doesn’t give that.

You could also check using this site and see if it has any more details than the others tried.
