cleanup gets stuck and never finishes after the new update

i recently acquired avast cleanup and i tried to start the cleanup and it gets stuck at this point and never finishes http://prntscr.com/go0x0a

i hope someone can help me with this as i payed for something i cant use

Mine looks the same and I have the same version. I would like to use this product if possible.

I have the same problem, cleanup getting stuck either while scanning for things to clean up or at the clean up stage itself.

Today it identified a total of 25MB of stuff for cleaning, but got stuck at the clean up stage. I tried using the Windows 8.1 disk clean up administrative tool instead, it identified 25MB to clean and cleaned it all up fine.

Hi. I’ve just purchased this as an add on to my Avast Premier for 3 PC’s and it worked perfectly on my PC which runs on Windows 8.1, however it is stuck on my son’s Windows 10 laptop in exactly the same place as the picture on the original post. It’s been going for over an hour now, any help would be appreciated. We are both running the same version of Avast, again as per the original post above.

See the log file to see where the problem is.

CleanUp is I.m.o. pure waste of money.
Spend some time and learn how to use use a OS/computer and you can do a much better job yourself.

I’d say “stay away from it”. I got it yesterday, used it …carefully… and it completely screwed up my laptop!! Even after using “UNDO” it’s still a mess.

com on AVAST TEAM I tried Restore factory defaults and still nothing, Configure your Avast installation Repair and still does not work so I uninstall all and reinstalled every thing then it worked only one time then does not work. also nothing and I mean nothing was running in the background. please fix your program! (P.S. I pad for Cleanup)

Yes me too as i did not get so called up date using avast version 171006-4 - 17.7.2314 on windows 10 pro 64 bit

171006-4 iS a VPS version, not a CleanUp version.
