How do I delete old entries in the Scan History? (ver.17.6.2310)
Settings-Maintenance-Clear Scan History
I don’t think it’s possible deleting separate scan logs if that’s what you were asking.
I think in Ccleaner there is an option to deletes files from avast.
There is such a setting. However, using CCleaner on Avast files is not recommended at all.
If you use avast & Ccleaner this option is enabled by default !
I don’t know about it being default. I’ve used CCleaner far longer than I’ve used Avast, and I’ve used Avast since version 4.x. As far back as I can remember, Avast has been unchecked in CCleaner. Perhaps I did uncheck it immediately after installing Avast, knowing what a bad idea it was/is.
Removing the log files could (or should) work also.
Just did the update to the latest version of Ccleaner and Avast was checked. I had to manually uncheck it.
Wish they had a feature to save your settings. I know I’m not the only one to ask.
I just updated CCleaner 5.34 to CCleaner 5.35 by downloading CCSetup535_Slim.exe and overinstalling. Avast was unchecked before and remained unchecked after update.
Hi Bob, you can save the settings, see screenshot. Cheers
But Bob doesn’t have the German version ;D ;D ;D

Thanks, gisot1. I found that I have to restart Avast to see the cleared Scan History. It’s a pity that one cannot clear individual scans, but I can live with it.
Tried as I have suggested?
